Communication

Today we had another great day of discussions and prayer with our team here in Thailand.

Our main topic of discussion this morning was the importance of communication and learning to connect with those who are of a different generation. These days there are so many ways to communicate; newsletters, e-mail, skype, facebook, etc. Some people like lots of information, others say they don't want so much. Hmmmm. We know that it is impossible to please everyone, but we sure would like to try.

As we focus on the needs of this community and try to communicate with those who are giving and praying for us, our goal is to be effective in all areas.

What do YOU think? Do you like to hear from us often? Do you like to hear all the details? Do you prefer e-mail or paper via snail mail? We would love to hear from you. If you have a facebook account, join the Team Possible Network and tell us what you think. Or you can comment on this page. We will try to determine the most popular form of communication and see if it is effective.

Looking forward to hearing from you...
Team Possible

Personally, I prefer e-mail communcations. I don't "Tweet" because that would mean me giving skyrocketing levels of attention to trivia from around the world, and cause me to neglect those who are in front of my face or next door. I do "Skype" occasionally to cut around long distance bills and to exchange encouragement with those far from home, but that's about as "tech-y" as I get. But the cell phone has taught me about boundaries - I need to have them or I will go insane.
